Kenyon Midgets
After winning the 2021 Kenyon Midget Series championship with driver Ayrton Houk, the BHR team has now taken an even bigger role in the series. We have reached an agreement to purchase the sanctioning body and the series from Don Kenyon, Eric Bunn, and Norm Shields. What does this mean? BHR will now be the source for cars, parts, rental cars, and support for the Kenyon Midget Series for 2022 and beyond. Don and Mel Kenyon will still be huge supporters of the series, and we couldn’t do this without their support. We now have parts in stock at our Pendleton, IN shop to support Kenyon Midget series drivers and car owners. The BHR website will be going through some updates to better serve our customers. Check back here for parts inventory, baseline setups, tech tips, etc… to be added in the coming weeks.
We also now own the sanctioning body that promotes the Kenyon Midget races, the United States Speed Association. You can learn more about the USSA and the Kenyon Midget Series at ussaracing.com or kenyonmidgets.com.
We are excited about this new opportunity. I have been passionate about the local Indiana circle track seen since I was just a kid hanging on the fence looking down in to the pits. And now we have the chance to play an integral role in a great racing series. We will honor the legacy that Mel and Don Kenyon have created over the past decades. And we will work to grow the series by expanding opportunities for our racers, bringing in new partners, working with new tracks, and promoting exciting races. See you at the track!
